『絶景タウシュベツ川橋梁』は、岩崎量示が長年にわたり記録してきたタウシュベツ川橋梁の写真のなかから、もう二度と見られるかどうか、という絶景を中心に編んだ写真集です。

湖の水位によって水没と出現を繰り返し、季節や光によって大きく表情を変えるタウシュベツ川橋梁。本作では、その多彩な姿のなかから印象的な光景を選び、一冊にまとめました。

2025年、記録開始から20年という節目を機に制作された本作は、映像作品『千年の残響』、モノクロ写真集『光影の記憶』へ連なる三部作の一冊でもあります。

Landscape of Taushubetsu Bridge

Landscape of Taushubetsu Bridge is a color photobook built from Ryoji Iwasaki’s long-term photographic record of the Taushubetsu Bridge, focusing on extraordinary scenes that may never be seen again.

The Taushubetsu Bridge repeatedly disappears beneath the lake and emerges again as the water level changes, while its appearance shifts dramatically with the seasons and the light.

This volume brings together a selection of especially striking views from among those many changing forms.

Created in 2025 to mark the 20th year since Iwasaki began documenting the bridge, this book is also one part of the trilogy that continues into the video work Resonance of Time and the monochrome photobook Memoriesin Light and Shadow.

Through the breadth and vividness unique to color photography, this book offers the most immediate and visually direct introduction to the beauty of the Taushubetsu River Bridge.
